places to go, people to meet
I am goona visit Mykonos this August with some friends. I was always wanted to spend some days in this amazing island so i want everything to be excellent organized. I booked the airtickets and a luxury villa to stay, using www.instylevillas.com. Their services were excellent. But what about on ''how to spend our days?" part of our vacation? Any suggestions for beaches, clubs, bars and restaurants??
Thank you in advance,
Dimitrios

Hi Dimitrios, Mykonos is absolutely wonderful. We sailed to the island the past three summers. Elia beach is by far the most gay active beach of them all. You're likely to read about Super Paradise also but it's been our experience that the gay section has diminished the past few years and there isn't much privacy.
There are a few gay bars in town. There are two very popular and fun dance clubs that I'm sure you'll hear all about - just ask anyone. They are located on the main promenade at the very end around the corner. You can't miss them. Have a blast. I'm sure you will. Cheers.

We stayed on our boat so we don't really have any recommendation for accommodations.

The customer service boy of instylevillas.com recommended it to us. We are 8-10 people so it is cheaper than a room in a resort. I was o bit curious in the beginning with them cause i am a half greek and many greek friends of mine don't know about them. That's why i'm asking for some advice here. Fortunately they were really helpful and their services were excellent. I'll write again after the trip :-)
Nice to know each other!
I think staying in a villa is the best with a large group. We've done it several times in the Caribbean. Looking forward to reading your trip report. Cheers.
