Keep an eye on my blogs as I usually write a new movie review every Friday and I am the reviewer of touring Broadway shows here in Miami and Fort Lauderdale for broadwayshowbiz.com   The touring company of the revival of "La Cage Aux Folles" opens this coming Tuesday--'stars' George Hamilton who is 30 years older than his co-star, playing Albin/Zsa Zsa, Christian Sieber--I saw the original production when it opened in New York in 1983and still remember how I felt when George Hearn brought the first act curtain down with "I Am Who I Am "--will let you know all about it!

A stage version of "Umbrellas" was done at the New York Shakespeare Festival/Public Theatre nearly 30 years ago, in a translation by Sheldon Harnick ("Fiddler on the Roof" lyricist) and though critically well-received, did not make the transition to Broadway.

I am seeking co-producers (fundraisers) to help develop and promote several new musicals. Though not gay-themed, they do have gay undertones--well, don't ALL musicals? Contributions to Chameleon Theatre Co., Ltd., a New York City 501(c)3 non-profit, are tax-deductible. We are NOT soliciting investors at this time. amateursinner@gmail.com

Rupert Everett as 'Enry 'Iggins? Not the FIRST time the role has been played by a gay man, certainly: Leslie Howard AND Rex Harrison!

Maybe in Sweden, he's known as "Thorth," the patron god of interior decorators and hairdressers.......
