I am hosting with Astrid a trip to Guadalajara 2/3-5/2012. It will be a 3 day bus trip with plenty of time to 'do your thing' and there is lots of that in this city! Dining will be discussed and sampled with me; the historical and shopping venues will be explored with Astrid. Great time with no worries!

Chez Vous - c'est magnifique!!
The latest addition to the gastronomic trail in Play del Ingles - a French (and I DO mean French, not a Spanish copy!) restaurant serving an amazing array of delights to tempt you. The owners are indeed French and have been on the island for over 30 years owning two restaurants in Las Palmas.
I can safely say that this eaterie is now firmly on my list of top restaurants for a great meal. As an example you can choose off the set menu, comprising of 4 starters and main courses to choose from with a dessert to finish all for the amazing price of €18.90.
The wine is superb - try the Merlot; it's as smooth as silk!
Chez Vous can be found at the following address:
Chez Vous, Apartamentos los Volcanes, Avda de Tirajana 7, Playa del Inglés Tlf: 928 777 924 or 6161 752 049 (directly opposites Pascha's nightclub)
Give it a try - you will not be disappointed!!

I really really love food especially when I am traveling about. My partner and I are planning a RTW trip (September 2010) for his 40th B-day. We love the cafe and Bistro scene and need suggestions for RTW destinations...where is a good place to eat and chill?

Food and Wine - you poor guys should be in Puerto Vallarta right now. The May Restaurant Festival started 5/15 and continues through 5/31. I have been organizing small groups to visit and sample and then I write a review for www.BanderasNews.com as a PR for the place and the event. The special menus are 299 pesos or 189 pesos. Three courses, choice of three in each grouping = a fantastic bargain. PV has moved into number 2 right behind capital MX DF as dining destination in Mexico! We have had splendid meals and great company, lots of laughs and meeting new amigos and seeing old ones.

I am always looking for good Vegetarian Restaurants when I travel the world. Any suggestions you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
