Comment by Patrick Lee on May 22, 2012 at 23:58 A method I've found very effective is ammonia mixed with water in a spray bottle...this link says 10% ammonia, but I've used it a little stronger. I do try not to spray it on plants, especially tender foliage. Just after dark, grab a flashlight & go slug hunting!

Thanks- will try most of them- am so sick of slugs- but dont want to use chemicals- want to go green!
