There's a different kind of soccer challenge on offer as part of Knysna's 10th anniversary
Pink Loerie Mardi Gras...
"Eight teams from around SA will compete for
the BIG trophy – and what a trophy it will
be – like no other in the world – will be
more desirable than tiaras! And fake fur!
And in some cases false eye lashes! or own teeth!
Entries are now open and ONLY 8 teams will
be considered – 4 all boys teams and 4 all
girlz teams (and if your boys are very much
like girlz or visa versa – you can include him/her!)
Your team should consist of 5 player
PLUS a goalkeeper (important) and you will
only play 15min a side. The rules will be
forwarded to the final eight teams.
Any shoes can be worn – but no handbags on the pitch!
You can come with pom-pom girlz/boys and there will
be a prize for the best outfits! Make sure you get
the word out to your friends – you will need support and a crowd."
Please send you entry to coenie@gayspeak.co.za no later than 16th April 2010. The entry fee per team is R120, and the money goes to charity.
