So for the gay travellers, Monardo is the best point of entry?

From Monardo...is it still possible to go to see the Toraja houses?

Carl

Carl, it's Manado. No Monardo. If you want to see Toraja, house Makasar is the nearest point of entry. For tourist go to Toraja from Manado, they have to fly to Makasar first, except they make an overland trip, from Manado to Gorontalo then to Togian and then to Poso, and lastly to Toraja.

But to answer your question, yes. From Manado, it's still possible to go to see the Toraja Houses.

Since knowing a buddy in Jakarta in 2004, I've wanted to visit Watampone and Pajalele, a sleepy fishing village, I understand. There isn't much about Watampone on the internet and next to nothing on Pajalele.

I understand there are mountains on the way from Makassar to Watampone. Where could I spend a few days and which mountains?

I've been to places in Java, Sumatera, Riau and Kalimantan but the dream of Sulawesi still remains a dream
