RIO..... what an amazing and beautiful city. I lived there for some months and I have such special memories of brasil and RIO.

Dear Oswaldo--DAMN!  I cannot get a flight back from Rio anytime in Jan, Feb, or March!  I have to travel on airline points--I have more than enough!--but they do not have any openings at the moment; I will keep trying, my friend, and as soon as I AM able to get flights both ways I will then let you know.  It may be that I will have to come down in the Fall = Sept/Oct?  Is it warm then?  I HAVE to have heat!

SO Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I had to try and find the flights first before I could tell you what dates for a hotel <g>!  Love, as ever, Dougal

Thank you SO much!  The dates are provisional; I have tentatively booked a hotel for Jan 10-31, but I could come earlier {I think] and/or stay later.  Should I arrange my flights before I contact tou again?  I am retired so can travel anytime!  LOVE, as ever, Dougal

Hi there!  I want to come back to Rio early next year = Jan/Feb when it's still hot!  My plans are completely open but: does anyone know of a nice/cheap/safe hotel [with pool + sea view?] near Ipanema; I'd also like to know of any saunas besides Meio Mundo--which I thought was fabulous!  THE MEN!!!  Any help, information, or assistance is greatly appreciated!  As ever, Dougal
