Happy New Year and good diving to one and all in 2013. My last comment (11/08/11) Now completed 103 dives here in GC since that time, just gets better. Start the count for 2013 on Friday.

Are snorklers also welcome here?  Recently discovered Undersea Expeditions (www.underseax.com) and I'm reluctant to sign up for a random roommate match (especiall when they comments that most solo travelers were "bears that snore".  So, if can find a compatable guy(s) here to share a room (he wouldn't have to be a snorkler, he could be a diver), then would be more likely to plan on of their adventures, or we could just visit any dive/snorkle resort on our own.

Great to see this group on here. I've been diving in Nicaragua on Little Corn Island. Fantastic place and inexpensive with small groups.

Hello, my partner and I have just started working at a really cute reef resort on Borneo. The diving is amazing, and the place was friendly before but now the two resident instructors are gay, it's of course very gay friendly - if you find Singamata or me danteharker on facebook there are lots of pictures and other bits there (or of course I can tell you more about it here).

Well, after nearly three years of prevarication finally got back into the water again. Two dives mainly refreshing skills but definitely up for more. Not the same as the Red Sea but plenty to see off a volcanic island. No photos I'm afraid, that's for the future.

Hi Linton, have made contact with davyjones diving, had a medical and meeting them tomorrow (Friday). The gay instructor has returned to the UK, am impressed with their responses. Will keep you informed, many thanks for initial reply.

Are there any Brit ex-pat dive groups on Gran Canaria? I've been on the island since Oct 2008 and not got my gear wet yet,"never found out or got around to taking a medical" which I understand is essential here.

Been more than a little tardy really  I did find a centre in Playa shortly after my arrival but it has closed. (An excuse for laziness really!! Lol.)

Hi all you handsome divers,

Are any of you planning on being on the gay dive excursion in Cozumel, April 30 to May 7th?  I'm so looking forward to getting into the deep again.  I became certified in Guam in 1990 and have dived in Palau, Cozumel and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  Of course years in between but it will be nice to re-acquaint myself with the beauty and peacefulness of diving again.  Please let me know if you will be there and we can meet here on line first.  Great!
