My partner and I will be Seoul April 4-8.2013.

Can anybody recommend a hotel, max. USD 250.00 including breakfast and taxes? We are looking for a twin room (2-beds) with ensuite bathroom.

We are seniors, 75 & 70 yo

hi mark, how are you? i can identify with your story and sentiments.

i have a similar story. moved from CA back to MA to help my family business. did that (check). got a bf in MA (check). stayed to help my grandmother. she was 80 and had alzheimer's (check). got 3 college degrees (check). got teaching job (check). worked at 3 sucky schools and 1 good one. gram passed last year at age 93. was forced to move out of gram's home as her two sons sold it and kept money despite promises otherwise. now, i have wonderful filipino bf. looking to relocate to SE Asia or have him come here to the US. it's been a great ride and i'm very thankful for it. i feel so blessed.

i'm basing my decision on several things: TIMING, BF, JOB, and PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES in SE ASIA. How about you?

I will be back in Seoul again, 29 July 2011 for a month.  After spending two week in Bangkok.

Arriving In Seoul mid october, staying with a friend for a while, no plans yet, just want to experience the place - never been before. A bit concerned about lack of knowledge and language, but, oh well! Happy to meet and experience the place, no only Seoul, happy to travel throughout the country. I may stay till the New year.
