My partner & I have a week in Barcelona early September followed by 5 nights on Ibiza staying at gay resort.  Any suggestions/recommendations for tour attractions, bars, cafes, saunas etc in both places? Also love to meet other friendly masculine guys. Regards Wayne & Glenn

I would stay in Sitges as there is a lot of things to do there and only a 20 minute trip on the train into Barcelona.  You will find less expensive places to stay in Sitges.  Try, Stay Siges, web site and look under apartments.  You can find a 2 bedroom apartment with all of the amenities, such as air conditioning, washer, tv, kitchen, microwave and a lot of other things for around 60 euros a night. The price varies but I have used them several times and have always been satisfied with the property. You can rent by th day and see pictures of the properties so that you know what you are getting. Anytime you can get something like this for 30 euros apiece depending on what property you choose, you will not find anything better. Sitges is gay fiendly and a really laid back experience.  Hope you enjoy your trip to Spain. (My favorite country}

I am excited about my upcoming trip:

• 2013-Sep-16 2013-Sep-27 - Madrid, Spain (Madrid & Barcelona)*
• 2013-Sep-16 2013-Sep-27 - Catalonia, Spain (Madrid & Barcelona)*
• 2013-Sep-28 2013-Oct-07 - Ile-de-France, France (Paris & surrounds)^

At this stage, I am finalising the dates and lengths of stays in each of the places above. 

I would like to connect with people in the cities above, as well as hear some suggestions on accommodations that are safe, secure, in the midst of actions, and not too expensive. Or if you have used, or know someone who has, a local travel agency (reputable, with cred and reference) that can help plan my trip (acomms, transpo, etc) that would be great.

I will be travelling with a mate.  And we have a mate (and his partner) who will be showing us around and billeting us in Lisbon.  Happy to still meet and catch up with a few locals! ; )

The Gay Bear Fiesta at Vera Playa, Andalucia has been great fun..........and the beach is alive with hot men of all sorts........And the best part is that it will continue all summer!  Check it out.
