Just wanted to add a sport that has become my passion for the past 8 yrs and that is Flag Football which is growing in leaps and bounds. Touranments are starting all over the U.S. the next one is called The Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs, CA after that there will be one in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Today is the final day for registration at Gay Games VIII in Cologne, Germany from 31 July - 7th August. 34 sports and cultural events. 10,000+ participants expected. No qualification required for any event. Age and skill categories for most events. Volunteers and Spectactors welcome.

Ron,

Germany does have a tradition of hosted housing and as it's the middle of summer holidays, many will let out their apartments and spare rooms for rent.

Try contacting Games-Cologne and ask about hosted housing options.
