I should add I made some great young(er!!) friends there ... sadly my 'love' couldn't speak english. An extra reason to return ...... to teach him!

Visited Taiwan last month in June .... surely Asia's best kept secret as far as the west is concerned! Only had a week but am sure to return ... so many wonderful places to visit and such friendly people. I happily recommend a visit .... can also recommend Qstay (gay) boutique hotel.

Hi Garvin Last November,2009 I was lucky enough to meet my friend and lover Scott from Taiwan.He spent about 9 months here in Toronto and told me a lot about Taiwan.I can't wait to visit him maybe this comming Febuary for Chinese New Year.

Fisrt of all, welcome you guys ...
it depends what you'd like to discover in Taiwan.
if you guys love sight seeing, relaxing vacation, breathing in the fresh air and experience of Taiwan aboriginal's life... then you guys should go to Eastern Taiwan (I-Lan, Hua-Lien & Tai-Tung)...
if you guys wanna experience the high speed railway from TPE to KHH( Kaohsiung-southern Taiwan ) and then take bus to Ken-Ting, where is the famous of its beautiful beach and night life...

I would suggest you to visit Eastern Taiwan for 3 nights & then book domestic flight from Hua-Lien (east side) to Kaohsiung (south side) even stay in Ken ting for 2 nights & have fun all the way up to stay in Taipei for last few days...

hope you'll enjoy ur trip and have lots of fun in Taiwan ...
