I have been many times to the Kruger National Park. As a matter of fact I lived in RSA for a couple of years. Only the south of the park is interesting and you can rent some cabins at reasonable prices just outside the park.

Another park you might want the visit while you are there is Mkuze. It is in the north of Natal, much smaller but so much more exciting, especially if you don't mind getting up early and be at one of the waterholes around 6 am.

There is also the possibility to a trip in a hot air balloon. Not about the Kruger Park because it is not allowed but a trip around the Blyde River Canyon. Really worth doing. If you need furter info please not hesitate to contact me.
