Exhibit Opening: Play Fair! The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Make Sex Safer at The GLBT History Museum (Castro District)

September 28, 2012 from 7pm to 9pm
An exhibit focusing on a modest publication that broke new ground by launching the gay community's sex-positive response to the AIDS crisis. In 1982, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence produced "Play Fair," a brochure designed to get gay people talking about prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections in a language free of judgment and guilt.
