As the UK faces another economic slump I have to ask myself is there a light at the end of the tunnel?  Business has become slower and slower here with an increased "privilege" system being overly used and abused across the media and arts.  

Rates and money have become a dirty word for many in the arts community.  Anyone who treats their work in make up design (my paticular area of work) as a business is shunned and outright blasted.  A sad state of affairs for what was a…

I have always maintained that music should match your mood, rarely am I seen without headphones in and some sort of tune playing.  Weirdly my emotional state right now is dictating how the music flows. With strong evanesance ovetones and the occasional blast of Jar of hearts, I am just letting the sadness flow through me while I work out my place. 

What about you?  What drives your musical tastes and mood?  

Being in Scotland has major advantages and disadvantages. At the moment I am admittedly looking at this as being a major disadvantage.  Business wise I am just at a total loss as to where to go next. 

The crash courses, bums on seats, quantity over quality attitude to media has left me a little lost and not entirely sure what to do.  Currently searching for a new job or a possible relocation option.  I know realistically its no better elsewhere but I am really just not seeing…
