I went to Morocco and there was little sign of the bombing. The restaurant was covered in scaffolding, so it was easy to not notice.

The Moroccan people were indeed quite friendly.

My Dear--thank you SO much for this reply. I have NO doubt, NO doubt at all, that any and all future trips to Rio will be as great and wonderful as my first. Everyone said it was very dangerous-I NEVER felt in any danger whatsoever . . . mind you, I did not go up in to the hills where the slums are . I had been told that Rio was/is the most beautiful city in the world--AND IT IS!!! Love, as ever, D
