Like anywhere in the world it depends on your creature comforts and your hip pocket. There are some great hotels in Saigon. If you want to be in District 1, mainly Saigon there are some great places quite reasonable. We usually use the Northern Hotel but there is a lot of construction goping on around the building so my friendly agent is using the 4 star KIMDO Hotel in the main street (Nguyen Hoa Blvd) and I think it is around USD$80 per night per room with breafast. There are many 5 star if you want that class but they are quite expensive. There is a Sheriton, Caraville, Hyatt, Majestic, Rex which is also being renovated.
Let me know if you would like me to book anything for you and I will ask Thai my friend to do it for you. Hi is an agent in Hanoi and can arrange anything you would like at a very reasonable price. Trust me.
