The most direct bus from Playa to Las Palmas is the 30 which runs every 20 mins in the week (every 30 mins on sundays) and goes to San Telmo for the old quarter and then onto Sta. Catalina for the port (and gay scene). The only problem with the 30 is the last one back from LP is at 9.30pm.

The No.1 (also every 20 mins) takes much longer as it goes via various towns and terminates at San Telmo but runs until 11.30pm. Around midnight the No.1 becomes the No.5 but runs once an hour throughout the night. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to get back to Playa. If you are going in for the 'scene' you are best to get a cab from Sta. Catalina to San Telmo bus station to pick up the bus. I hope that doesn't sound too confusing? The point is it is possible.

If you go to the Tourist Information Centre on the edge of the Yumbo you can pick up the bus time table which may make it clearer! Have a great time in Las Palmas!

All of these places offer different things, so its best to enquire to each to see what actually suits you best!

Hi Tim, yes I have seen the reports in the press about our favourite lady! I am not one to gloat at others misfortunes but, suffice to say, what goes around around comes around!! I am sure she will be missed by her supporters. As far as I am concerned, good riddance to her!

So please book your date as soon as you know when is better for you (notice I´m out from 15th to 20th).
