Bette Davis in Ogunquit

Its a well known fact that Bette David performed at the Ogunquit Playhouse in the gay friendly village of Ogunquit Maine, but in 1930 before she went to Hollywood, Ms Davis spent a summer in Ogunquit, as the first female lifeguard in Ogunquit. Bette Davis was an accomplished swimmer, and got along well with the boys!

Nubble Lighthouse, near Ogunquit Maine

Lighthouses in Maine. The two go together like, Florida and oranges! Many people come to Ogunquit, Maine every year and want to see the dramatic coastline, and the lighthouses that dot the seashore. There are a couple of lighthouses in the Ogunquit area. One is the fabled Nubble Lighthouse.
