places to go, people to meet

I made a change from my norm BKK trip to Bali Indonesia this year. It was a pleasant trip overall to experience the Bali culture and to explore the Island. Just like any tour packages you do, it is cater for us, the "tourist" so it is a little more to pay for your daily expenses such as eating, sight seeing & transportation. There is no light transit system or tuk tuk that ply the beach from batubelig down to Kuta. You either pay for a taxi ride that easily cost you 30,000 rupiah or walk by the beach that will take at least an hour! I stay in a clothing option villa that has 8 rooms and 2 dom rooms. The interior is nicely done with a good size pool but the location is a little inconvenient to walk especially at night under the dim light. It is not too far from the Callego gay beach ". I was told that the bushes at the beach are for quicky but you have to pay around rp50,000 for the service. At night most people will go out for clubbing along jln Dhyana Pura.

Well, frankly speaking, for those who have not been to Bali, it is a must go at least once to have the experience. It is very different culture and unique temples that only Bali can offer. There are guys I met in the villa keep coming back for vacation. I also noticed that the visitor's age are much younger than what i see in Pattaya and Phuket. There are lots of gorgeous bare top guys walking at the beach to sooth your eyes.  As for me, I will not make as much trip to Bali as compare to Pattaya or Phuket. I love easy going mode (good & cheap transport), white sandy beaches (the sand is not cryster white) gay night life ( it is nothing if compare to gay Thailand ) food if for asian standard (it is considered high cos the eatery along and around the beach are all for tourists purposes) I have not seen road side hawker selling noodles and fruits etc. Correct me if I am wrong for my personal view. But then, I truely have no regret for my trip to Bali.
